Gene Hunt Completes Another Year as IESNA Conference Chair, Resulting in a Successful Flagship Event in San Diego

San Diego, CA — March 4, 2026 —  Trevi Communications announces that Gene Hunt, Principal and Co-founder, completed a nearly year-long engagement to curate and stage a wide-ranging conference program for the Intersolar & Energy Storage North America (IESNA) flagship conference in San Diego, February 18–19, 2026. This was his second year serving in the leadership role.

 

As Conference Chair for the event, Hunt led the buildout of the program, culminating in two keynote sessions and 28 expert-led breakout sessions spanning topics in solar, energy storage, EV infrastructure and manufacturing. These timely and relevant discussions continued the conference’s emphasis on practical strategies and collaboration across the clean-energy value chain. 

 

The program opened with a keynote focused on state-level clean-energy leadership, with speakers from California, Texas, New York and Massachusetts. A second keynote session followed on February 19, highlighting the work being done by the country’s leading industry associations. Both days featured a full slate of conference sessions, with participation from more than 125 speakers and moderators representing all sectors of the industry.

 

“Conference content is most effective when it’s designed to maximize audience engagement and share knowledge – not simply to promote,” Hunt said. “This year’s program offered diverse perspectives and truly timely insights to help clean-energy professionals navigate fast-changing policy and market dynamics.” 

 

Hunt will continue as IESNA Conference Chair this year and next, directing the third annual Texas regional conference in Dallas, September 1-2, 2026, and the next San Diego flagship conference, February 8-11, 2027.
